1. Our Commitment
PCI Global Standards, operated by Skill Up LLC, is committed to making www.pcidssglobal.com accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We believe that professional development education should be available to everyone, and we are working to ensure our platform conforms to recognised accessibility standards.
2. Standards We Aim to Meet
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those with:
- Visual impairments (including blindness, low vision, and colour blindness)
- Hearing impairments (including deafness and hard of hearing)
- Motor impairments (limited dexterity or mobility)
- Cognitive and learning disabilities
3. Current Accessibility Features
We have implemented or are working to implement the following accessibility features:
- Logical page structure using semantic HTML headings
- Descriptive alt text for all meaningful images
- Keyboard navigability throughout the platform
- Sufficient colour contrast ratios on text and interactive elements
- Resizable text without loss of content or functionality
- Descriptive link text and button labels
- Captions and transcripts for video content (being progressively implemented)
4. Known Limitations
We are an evolving platform and acknowledge that some content may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. Known areas under improvement include:
- Closed captions for all video content (being progressively added)
- Full screen reader compatibility across all interactive elements
- PDF accessibility for downloadable resources
We are actively working to address these limitations. If you encounter a specific accessibility barrier, please contact us so we can prioritise it.
5. Assistive Technology Compatibility
Our platform is designed to be compatible with:
- Screen readers (including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver)
- Speech recognition software
- Browser zoom functions (up to 200%)
- High contrast display modes
