Modern Slavery Statement

Our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking

Effective Date: June 2026  |  Version: 1.0

1. Introduction

This Modern Slavery Statement is published voluntarily by Skill Up LLC (trading as PCI Global Standards), a New Jersey, USA company (Company Number: 0450466060). Although we are not legally required to publish this statement under the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 at this stage of our growth, we publish it voluntarily as a demonstration of our values and in anticipation of our global expansion into markets where such transparency is expected or required.

2. Our Business

PCI Global Standards is a global online professional development platform specialising in PCI DSS and payment security training. We operate entirely online, providing digital course content to learners worldwide. Our primary activities are:

  • Development and delivery of professional development online courses
  • Issuing digital Certificates of Completion
  • Marketing and selling professional training globally

3. Our Supply Chain

As a digital-first business, our supply chain is minimal and primarily consists of:

  • Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform providers (e.g., Shopify, payment processors)
  • Cloud hosting and content delivery services
  • Professional freelancers and contractors engaged for content development and marketing

We do not operate in industries historically associated with high modern slavery risk (manufacturing, agriculture, construction, hospitality). However, we recognise our responsibility to assess risk throughout our supply chain.

4. Our Policies

We have a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and child labour. Our position is reflected in:

  • These Terms of Service and contractor agreements, which include compliance obligations
  • Our due diligence process for engaging contractors and service providers
  • Our commitment to paying fair and legal rates of remuneration

5. Due Diligence

We take the following steps to identify and address modern slavery risk:

  • Engaging only with reputable, established technology platforms and service providers
  • Reviewing publicly available information on supply chain practices of our key technology partners
  • Including anti-slavery clauses in contracts with freelancers and service providers where applicable

6. Training and Awareness

As our organisation grows and we onboard employees and contractors, we are committed to providing awareness training on modern slavery risks and reporting mechanisms.

7. Reporting Concerns

If anyone — including learners, contractors, or partners — suspects modern slavery or human trafficking in connection with our operations or supply chain, they are encouraged to report it:

Email: [email protected]

Reports can also be made to the relevant national authority. In the UK, this is the Modern Slavery Helpline: 0800 0121 700. In the USA, the National Human Trafficking Hotline: 1-888-373-7888.

8. Review

This statement is reviewed annually. It was approved and issued in June 2026 by the management of Skill Up LLC.
