1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Learner," or "you") and Skill Up LLC, trading as PCI Global Standards ("we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company incorporated in the State of New Jersey, USA (Company Number: 0450466060), with its registered address at 971 US Highway 202 N, Suite N, Branchburg, NJ 08876, USA.

By accessing www.pcidssglobal.com , creating an account, enrolling in any course, or making a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using the platform.

2. About PCI Global Standards

PCI Global Standards is operated by Skill Up LLC, a company registered in New Jersey, USA. We provide online professional development training courses focused on Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and related subjects.

Our courses award Certificates of Completion upon successful course conclusion.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC).

3. Eligibility

To use this platform you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher;
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts;
  • Not be prohibited by law from receiving our services;
  • Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information.

By using the platform you represent and warrant that all of the above conditions are satisfied.

4. Account Registration

You agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information during registration;
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
  • Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use of your account;
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or that are used in breach of these Terms.

5. Course Enrolment and Access

Upon successful payment, you will be granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the purchased course(s) for the duration stated at the point of purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, access is granted for twelve (12) months from the date of enrolment.

You may not:

  • Share your login credentials or course access with any other person;
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute course content;
  • Copy, record, download, reproduce, or create derivative works from course materials;
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access our platform.

6. Certificates of Completion

Upon completing a course and meeting any stated minimum requirements (e.g., quiz pass mark), you will receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by PCI Global Standards.

This certificate evidences course completion only. It does not constitute, and must not be represented as, an industry certification, professional licence, or qualification from the PCI SSC or any other certifying body.

For QSA, ISA, or PCIP Exam Preparation courses, our content is designed to help you prepare for those examinations. Passing those examinations and obtaining those credentials requires you to separately register with and be assessed by the PCI Security Standards Council.

7. Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed on the course listing page and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

We accept payment via:

  • Shopify Payments
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Other methods as displayed at checkout

Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.

We use industry-standard encryption and payment processors and do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

All payment transactions are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective payment processor.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on www.pcidssglobal.com , including but not limited to course videos, written materials, graphics, assessments, quiz questions, downloadable resources, and branding, is the exclusive property of Skill Up LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited licence to access and use the content solely for your personal, non-commercial professional development. No other rights are granted.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations;
  • Post or transmit any content that is defamatory, harmful, offensive, or infringes third-party rights;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its underlying infrastructure;
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or other malicious code;
  • Engage in fraudulent activity or misrepresent your identity;
  • Use course materials to engage in academic dishonesty or misrepresent credentials to third parties.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SKILL UP LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved by contacting us at [email protected].

If not resolved within thirty (30) days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Jersey, USA.

Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect.

Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
